The Clinical Practice Committee supports the mission of ISPAN to promote practice excellence and optimal patient safety & outcomes in plastic surgical and aesthetic nursing by using evidence-based practice as the foundation of care. The committee will develop evidence-based clinical practice guidelines, position statements, consensus statements, recommendations and/or protocols utilizing the best and most current research evidence that can be utilized by plastic surgical and aesthetic nurses in all practice settings. The committee will address current issues as they arise and monitor trends in clinical practice that affect the delivery of optimal care.
The Membership Engagement Committee strives to increase recruitment and retention with a focus on marketing and social media.
The Scientific Sessions Committee reviews evaluations of past programs, trends, needs assessment, literature, and develops format and content of program for the annual meeting. They collaborate with Staff in the development of a call for abstracts for concurrent sessions/posters and review and select the program content from the call.
