Tuck it, Lift it, Suck it: The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Mommy Makeovers
Ashley Steinberg, MD FACS
Trouvaille Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery
8:00 pm – 9:00 pm Central Time
This session will review the “mommy makeover” as a customizable combination of breast and body procedures, with special consideration for patients after pregnancy, GLP-1–associated weight loss, bariatric surgery, and massive weight loss. Through case-based discussion, the session will break down common options including augmentation, mastopexy, reduction, abdominoplasty, body lift, liposuction, brachioplasty, thighplasty, and vulvar/vaginal rejuvenation, while emphasizing consultation strategy, patient selection, risk counseling, and complication management. Attendees will better understand how anatomic changes, weight stability, future pregnancy plans, mental health considerations, and procedure-specific risks affect surgical planning and outcomes. Learning objectives include identifying appropriate candidates, comparing procedure combinations, counseling patients on realistic expectations and complications, and applying current concepts in body contouring for post-pregnancy and post-weight-loss patients.
